High school to expand in-person learning model to four days

Collierville Schools has announced that it plans to expand in-person learning at Collierville High School starting on Jan. 6.
The school will go to four days of in-class learning and one day of virtual learning.
The plan will be available to all hybrid high school students. Virtual Academy students can remain at home.
Current hybrid students who are uncomfortable going back to four days of in-class learning can join the Virtual Academy.
Students can’t begin the four-day model until Jan. 6 because the it will take several weeks to generate the new learning model.
School administrators will need to reconfigure arrival, dismissal and lunch procedures.
Faculty and students will be expected to socially distance and masks will be expected to be worn by everyone.
