The Collierville VFW Post 5066 hosted the Tom Allen Pancake Breakfast on April 17 at 347 S. Center Street. The event is named after Tom Allen, who was a Collierville Alderman, Korean War veteran and a VFW life member, took great pride in hosting the annual pancake breakfast. He enjoyed every aspect, from promoting, donations, cooking, serving, and most of all connecting with the attendees. Allen would talk to every person that walked through the door. The membership of VFW Post 5066 finds great in carrying on Tom’s legacy. Those pictured include: Jason Lederfine; Ron McCarty; and Stuart James and children.
