With a 31-26 lead at halftime, the Houston Mustangs turned on the jets in the third quarter and put away Ridgeway Friday night in the consolation game of the District 15-AAA tournament. Jimmy Jenkins paced Houston with 21 points. Bruce Guy added 14 points. The Mustangs will now play at No. 2 seeded White Station this Saturday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the Region 8AAA tournament. The Spartans beat Whitehaven 48-46 on Friday in the District 16-AAA semifinals before falling 87-69 to No. 1 seeded Memphis East on Saturday.
