Keith Ashley Warren, age 78, of Memphis, TN, peacefully passed away on March 2nd, 2022 at his home with his family in his Eads, TN home.

Born in Cambridge, MD, and raised by William L. Warren and Exa Warren of New York, Keith was an only child. He was a caring, curious, and intelligent boy that loved sports of all kinds. He was an avid lacrosse and football player while attending Mineola High School.

He was passionate about being able to pursue his college education down south at the University of Kentucky, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science and JD from the University of Kentucky Law School. While in school, Keith was active in Kappa Sigma fraternity and a member of the University of Kentucky Law Journal.

Upon graduation from law school, Keith married his high school sweetheart, Ingrid Peterson, and they moved to Puerto Rico where he was among the elite Judge Advocates in the United States Air Force. He respectably finished his four-year commitment in Puerto Rico, where he and his wife and first-born daughter, Lisa lived. After four years in the JAG core, Keith and family moved to Memphis, TN where he worked for the National Labor Relations Board as an attorney.

Soon thereafter, he went into private practice and made partner at McKnight, Hudson, Lewis, Henderson & Warren Law Firm practicing labor and employment law representing management in employment litigation and traditional labor law.  Nationwide, he acted as lead counsel in representing employers in more than 200 union representation cases, negotiated hundreds of collective bargaining agreements, and handled numerous labor arbitrations and employment litigation trials.  He conducted business for clients in all 50 states and in the District of Columbia.

In 1997, Keith and his firm McKnight, Hudson merged with Ford & Harrison. It was during these years that Keith had been awarded many accolades, with numerous years of being named “Top100 Labor Lawyers in the United States”, “The Best Lawyers in America”, and “Tennessee Top Lawyers”. He had court admissions from the Shoshone and Arapahoe Tribal Court in Ft. Washakie, WY all the way up to the Supreme Court. Keith’s memberships included Tennessee, Kentucky, and Wyoming Bar.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Warren and sister-in-law, Carol Clews.

Keith leaves behind his wife Ingrid, children Lisa Saunders Foster, Mark Ashley Warren and Blake Edward Warren, six grandchildren; Erin Fontane Saunders, Brooke Ashley Saunders, Luke Dawson Warren, Mary Nell Warren, Ezra Cade Warren and Presley Adelaide Warren.
