Collierville held a Memorial Service for former town employee James Mathis on Friday afternoon. During the service, a bench at Town Hall was dedicated in his memory. Mathis, who passed away in January, retired from the town in December 2012 as engineering inspector. He worked for Collierville for 46 years, starting at the age of 17. ABOVE: Karen Mathis, wife of James, reads a plaque affixed to the memorial bench at Town Hall.
