Zooming Forward

By Kathleen Edelmuth

The Southwind Garden Club, like many organizations, is presently holding its monthly meetings in Zoom format because of COVID restrictions.

The January meeting featured the regular business meeting and a program presented by Julie Wilson, incoming president of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs.

While the members would have enjoyed the in person presentation, the online presentation was quite informative and interesting to watch.

Julie Wilson is a Master Ikebana instructor and her expertise in assembling these Japanese style arrangements was evident in the completed pieces using various forms of foliage, rocks, roots, and other interesting artifacts.

The Southwind Garden Club is a member of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
