Three men were arrested Sunday night by Collierville police officers and charged with robbing a couple at gunpoint at W.C. Johnson Park.

Travin Coleman, Kourtney Key and Kristopher Key have each been charged with evading arrest and two counts of aggravated robbery. Kourtney and Kristopher Key were also charged with possessing a firearm during commission or attempt to commit dangerous felony.

Collierville police responded to an armed robbery call shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Two victims said they were approached by three men while walking on the Johnson Park boardwalk. Two of the men pulled handguns and took car keys, credit cards and other personal items from the victims and fled into a wooded area.

“All three suspects were quickly apprehended by responding officers and all property was recovered,” said Collierville Lieutenant Ben Wardlow. “There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.”

The three men, all from Collierville, remain in custody with bonds set at $750,000.
