The Collierville Middle School pom team recently traveled to Orlando, Fla. to compete in the GameDay National Championship and returned with some stunning hardware.
The team was named first in the nation, third in Junior High Pom, third in Junior High Hip Hop, first in World’s Junior High Pom and had the overall highest score in the World’s Nations Rankings.
The team is sponsored by Letitia Sutherlen and Jodi Latimer, and coached by Carol Lloyd Cross.
The Collierville High School dance team also returned from the National Dance Team Championship with a second place finish in GameDay, a fourth place finish in Pom, and an eighth place finish in Hip Hop.
