Dragons travel to Cooperstown | Collierville Independent

The Collierville Dragons Maroon 12s competitive baseball team recently traveled to Cooperstown, N.Y. to compete in a week long competitive baseball tournament hosted by Cooperstown Dreams Park. Cooperstown Dreams Park hosts a 12-year-old only tournament. Each week, during the months of June, July and August, they host 104 teams from all across the United States. The Dragons participated from June 14-20, beating teams from Ohio, Michigan, Nevada, Illinois, California and Florida. The team had a successful showing during the tournament week, turning in a 7-1 record and making it to the Sweet Sixteen. The team finished tied for ninth place out of the 104 teams.
