Collierville Kroger sees Strong grand reopening

The Collierville community came out Wednesday morning to support the Kroger on New Byhalia Road.

The location was closed on Sept. 23 after a mass shooting left 14 injured and one dead. Community leaders spoke on the tragedy and honored those affected by the shooting.

Food donations were made to the Mid-South Food Bank and Central Church.

A healing center, which even includes a therapy dog named Joe, has been set up on site.

Shoppers poured into the newly renovated store soon after the grand opening ceremony to take in the completely remodeled store.
