Collierville’s VFW Post 5066 recently celebrated its 75th anniversary celebration. The post has been doing as much as possible to give Veterans a place they can call home. The post collected Toys 4 Tots and served food to participants on Dec. 5. “We recently installed a bar to give us another place to enjoy each other’s company. If you’re a Veteran that served in an imminent danger zone, you can qualify to be a member of the largest Veterans Service Organization.”
The post in Collierville is also available for rental for parties, meetings or even church services. The rental fees collected go directly to the post to help keep the doors open for Veterans.
