Bridge commits to FAU

Collierville High School women’s golf standout Anna Claire Bridge, a transfer from North Carolina’s Leesville Road High School, has committed to continue her education and athletic career at Florida Atlantic University.Bridge was one of the top 30 junior golfers in the state of North Carolina last fall, landing her on the 2019 All-State team. In addition, she was ranked within the Top 50 junior golfers in the combined Carolinas.She is off to a hot start in 2020 after enrolling at Collierville High School. Anna Claire has been the medalist in every match she’s played. Most recently, she was the medalist at the 2020 Greater Memphis FCA Tournament at Windyke Country Club. Bridge shot 1 under par.The Collierville Lady Dragons golf team will return to action on Sept. 14 against Bartlett. Match play is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Stonebridge Golf Club.
