Four teenagers, including two 15-year old suspects, are in custody and have been charged with abducting and robbing a Collierville man outside of a Memphis nightclub early Saturday morning.
Just after 3 a.m. on Jan. 27, a man was robbed as he left a nightclub on Highland Street, according to reports from the Collierville Police Department.
The suspects then reportedly forced the man to drive to his Collierville house. Items were taken and the man, along with his parents, were forced to withdraw money from an ATM machine. No injuries were reported.
Collierville police apprehended the suspects as they fled the town.
“After a pursuit the four suspects, all from Memphis, were captured. The suspects ages are two 15 year olds, a 16 and a 17 year old. Collierville Police are continuing their investigation. The victims were not injured in this incident,” the department announced on social media.
The oldest suspect and driver is a 17-year-old who has been charged with; three counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated robbery, criminal conspiracy to wit robbery, criminal conspiracy to wit kidnapping, evading arrest with a motor vehicle, employing a firearm during the commission of dangerous felony, and unlawful possession of a weapon (handgun).
A 16-year-old suspect shared the same charges except evading arrest with a motor vehicle and was instead charged with evading arrest on foot.
Both 15-year-old suspects, including a female, have been charged with; three counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated robbery, criminal conspiracy to wit robbery, and criminal conspiracy to wit kidnapping.
