T-shirts promote ‘Live Life Local’ campaign | Collierville Independent

A few months ago, the Collierville Tourism Advisory Commission introduced a logo and identifying line as part of a branding campaign to inform visitors and residents of the many amenities, and features of Collierville.

Live Life Local 38017 Collierville was first introduced on stickers, and now the brand is featured on 100-percent cotton t-shirts and tank tops available for purchase.

The gray custom-designed shirts and tank tops feature the identifying phrase in black with 38017 in green. The cost is $20 each.

Shirts will be available for purchase at the Collierville Chamber of Commerce luncheon, in the historic Town Square District at My Town Tees, The Brooks Collection, and the Morton Museum. Shirts and tanks can also be purchased at the administrative offices of Collierville Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department, 440 W. Powell Road.

All proceeds will benefit the Tourism Commission to further promote 38017- Collierville.

“Collierville really has it all now,” Tourism Chair Watty Brooks Hall said. “As a lifelong resident, I remember when we had to leave Collierville for shopping, movies, restaurants and other amenities. Not anymore. If you need most anything, just Live Life Local,” she said.

The oval shaped black, green & gray stickers are free and available at the Chamber, Collierville Town Hall, The Brooks Collection, Main Street Collierville and locations throughout town.

In addition to informing residents of all the amenities 38017-‘Live Life Local’-Collierville, the Tourism Advisory Commission encourages Mid-South residents to visit Collierville.

“A ‘staycation,’ staying home for a vacation, is the new way to get away,” Brooks Hall said. “We hope to foster that type of tourist as well as increase our involvement with tour groups.”
