The Houston football team won their first game of the season Friday night in a close contest with Cordova. The Mustangs used two pivotal turnovers to eke out a 15-13 win. Down 13-9 at the end of the third quarter, Mustang defensive back Noah Arrindell (pictured) picked off a Cordova pass and ran the ball 65 yards to the 15 yard line. Houston quarterback Jared Schmidt, a junior, scored on the next possession. The Mustangs will play at 0-1 Bolton this Friday.
