DESIGN REVIEW COMMISSION  –  April 11, 2013

Notice is hereby given that the Design Review Commission (DRC) will meet on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 5:00 pm for a non-voting work session meeting in the Development Conference Room at Town Hall. The non-voting work session of the Design Review Commission is informal. Its purpose is to discuss projects and/or potential projects in light of the Design Guidelines. At that time, consideration will be given to the following:

1. Call to Order

2. Roll Call

3. Approval Additions, Deletions, or Modifications to Agenda

4. Discussion of Pending Applications or Potential Applications:

A. DRC13-06  –  Loy Taylor of McDonald’s USA, LLC, has requested a

review and discussion of a potential Preliminary Site Plan application for a

McDonald’s restaurant on Lot 2 of the Byhalia Retail Center, located

on the north side of Poplar Avenue, west of Byhalia Road adjacent to the

Walgreens store.

B. DRC13-04 – Planner Nancy Boatwright, has requested review and

discussion of potential changes to the signage regulations in the Zoning

Ordinance, and possibly related changes to the Design Guidelines, that

will result from the first major update to the signage regulations since the

2010 comprehensive sign ordinance rewrite, which was drafted through

multiple work sessions of the staff and DRC.
