Despite a last minute opponent change, the Collierville High varsity football team dominated its competition on Friday night in the first game of the 2021 season. Up 38-0 at halftime, the Dragons went on to beat Raleigh-Egypt 61-0 thanks in part to more than 275 yards of offense.

Senior quarterback Houston Wilhelm, who has been named the Chick-fil-A Scholar Male Athlete of the Week, had two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown while completed six-of-eight passes for 93 yards.
His touchdown strikes were thrown to senior John Hampton and junior Noah Flaskamp.
