CHS ranked among nation’s top schools | Collierville Independent

Newsweek Magazine has ranked Collierville High School No. 335 on America’s Top High School list for 2015.

The magazine ranks the Top 500 schools from across the nation. The report utilizes a variety of data in determining the rankings.

Collierville High School was one of six schools in Tennessee to make the Top 500 list.

The Newsweek High School Rankings assess schools based on a broad range of data to determine which institutions do the best job of preparing students for college.

Principal James “Chip” Blanchard said, “The hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and families continues to propel Collierville High School forward.

“I appreciate the effort and level of high expectations that exist for all students,” he concluded.

Superintendent John Aitken echoed the remarks stating, “We know the level of rigor that exists at Collierville High School and in all of our schools. It is exciting to see those efforts being rewarded.”
