Assisted living facility scheduled for E. Winchester | Collierville Independent

The town’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen will discuss a development agreement for a future assisted living facility at the corner of E. Winchester Blvd. and S. Shea Road.

Board members will approve the 99-unit facility within the Villages at Porter Farms development Monday during their regularly scheduled meeting.

The Villages at Porter Farms Assisted Living and Memory Care will include a 60,710-square-foot assisted living wing and a 32,708-square-foot memory care wing. Both wings will have interior courtyards.

The one-story building will be predominantly brick with stone accents. It will look similar to Hearthside on Wolf River Blvd.

A 20-foot greenbelt dedication runs along most of the west side of the nearly 8-acre site. The sidewalk will be eliminated and a 25-foot landscape area for large ornamental trees will be provided, along with a 20-foot greenbelt easement with a 12-foot wide trail.

Construction on the project will start within the next two years. The building will be be completed within nine months of commencement.

There are currently four assisted living facilities in Collierville, including Care Matters, which is on nearby Peyton Parkway.
