• Collierville Town Hall will be closed on July 4 for Independence Day. In case of fire and police emergencies, call 911.

Collierville sanitation crews will not work on July 4.

There will be no garbage collection on Independence Day.

Garbage and recyclables will be picked up the day after your regular collection day. If your regular collection day is Monday, your garbage and recyclables will be picked up on Tuesday, etc.

Commercial Pick-up will remain the same.

There will be no appliance pick up on July 8.

The next available appliance pick-up will be July 15.

• Collierville’s 31st Annual Fourth of July Celebration will be held on July 4 in Cox Park, 440 W. Powell Road, starting at 6:30 p.m. with a fireworks display at 9:45pm.

• The Lions Club Fishing Rodeo will be July 4 from 9-11 a.m. at Municipal Park Lake.

Children, ages 4 to 15 years, can kick off the holiday with Germantown Lions Club and Germantown Parks and Recreation. Try to reel in the big one. Bring a fishing pole, tackle and bait to 1900 South Germantown Road.
