Tinseltown travels to Collierville | Collierville Independent

Members of Hollywood descended on Collierville Sunday afternoon to promote the motion picture 50 to 1, the true story of a group of New Mexico cowboys who find themselves on a journey when their crooked-footed racehorse, Mine That Bird, qualifies for and wins the 2009 Kentucky Derby. Jackie and Donna Welch of Menagerie Farms hosted the party to celebrate the film’s local opening this week. The group of actors, directors, producers, etc. are traveling across the country to promote the movie.
