Tara Oaks Elementary School recently hosted a PTA Water Blast to celebrate every class reaching their goal of raising $750. Students and faculty were allowed to spray school principals with water. The principals were good sports about the event, though each had a different style of dealing with the water dousing. Principal Tricia Marshall wore a blue rainsuit and used a tiger striped lid as a shield from the water. ABOVE: Assistant Principal Tyler Salyer wore a tiger costume. RIGHT: Assistant Principal Jennifer Scharf opted for bare feet, shorts and a jacket. See page 3 for more information about the Tara Oaks fundraiser.
