Each summer, the Collierville Arts Council and the Miss Collierville Organization presents the Collierville Youth Talent Show showcasing the talents of our local youth. The 2015 event was held on Sunday afternoon at the Harrell Theatre.

As an official preliminary to the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest, the show features a Junior Division for ages 9-12 and a Senior Division for ages 13-21. The winners of each division received a trophy and cash prize to be used as their entry fee for the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent. Acts competed in several divisions: vocal solo, vocal group, band or instrumental group, instrumental solo, dance solo, dance group or the variety category. The event is the official preliminary of the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest.

The Fair talent contest has served as a launching pad for the careers of many noteworthy performers. This year marks the 62nd anniversary of the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Contest. The event is the largest amateur performing arts talent contest in the world. For over six decades young entertainers from an eight-state region have performed in the hopes of being recognized and catapulted to fame.
