Southwind Garden Club closes out year, names new officers

The Southwind Garden Club closed the group’s year recently with the installation of new officers and Board members.  

The Garden Club has remained active throughout the pandemic and all members look forward to the meetings and programs planned for the coming year.

The Southwind Garden Club promotes gardening and neighborhood beautification within the Southwind community and community outreach involvement in many organizations in Shelby County including Madonna Learning Center, Chucalissa Museum, and Alpha Omega Veterans Services.

Garden Club members actively participate on many committees and accomplish worthwhile results for grateful organizations.  The Garden Club also assists the TPC Southwind with holiday decorations as well as floral decorations for the annual FEDEX/St. Jude Invitational Golf Tournament. 

The Club is honored to maintain the trees in Southwind that are part of a Level 1 Arboretum.  

The Southwind Garden Club is a member of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
