Patti Asbridge

Patti Asbridge was a caring wife, mother, “Gaga” and friend. She passed away on September 5, 2022 at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Patti was born to Kenneth and Frances Poland on August 2, 1961 in Columbus, Indiana. After graduating from Union City High School she attended Murray State University. During college, she met the love of her life, Lee Asbridge, whom she married in December, 1983.

Together, Patti and Lee shared a lifetime of happiness and love. They were by each other’s side through every endeavor, good and bad.  After retiring, they traveled the US together and filled their days with life’s adventures.

Patti was wildly creative and excelled at any hobby she attempted, her favorite being conchology (shell collecting). Sanibel Island was her happiest place.  But most of all she loved her family. Her daughters brought her immense joy and pride. She was the greatest “Gaga” her three grandchildren could ever ask for – always there for them whatever they needed; be it a Halloween costume expertly created, a front row cheering section at every school program and ballgame or just a hug and a kiss.

Patti is survived by her daughters Laura Halbrook (Michael) and Leena Mincey (Jerry) and three grandchildren, Harper, Scarlett and Pierce.  She was proceeded in death by her parents and husband, Lee.
