Olivia Carrisalez King

1951 – 2021

Olivia Carrisalez King, 70, of Collierville died on Thursday, September 23, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN.

Born in San Patricio County, Texas, she attended Gregory-Portland schools and later earned an associate’s degree. Olivia was a devoted mother and Navy wife raising three children. Upon her husband’s retirement from the Navy, she worked for DuPont, Memphis National Golf Club, and Collierville Elementary School as a financial secretary.

Olivia is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Jose, her brothers, Fred and Tony, and her husband, Greg.

She is survived by her three sons, Jason, Wes, and Greg, and her grandchildren, Lily, Elsa, Max, Elijah, and Michael. She is also survived by her siblings, Alice Reyna, Joe Carrisalez, Mary Acuña, Jesse Carrisalez, Bea Heenan, Stella Morgan, Sue Hornsby; brothers and sisters-in-law, and many loving nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Visitation was Oct. 1, 2021 and her funeral Mass was Oct. 2, both at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 360 Bray Station Road in Collierville, where she was a parishioner.
