Neighborhood Christian Centers opens satellite site in Collierville with support from Town

Neighborhood Christian Centers is expanding into Collierville to respond to the needs of the low to moderate income households in the area and those living adjacent to Collierville that are coming to Collierville seeking assistance from local churches and community organizations.

The Town of Collierville supported NCC’s mission of being a centralized support site through a $5,000 grant.

NCC will work to stabilize these individuals and families in need through crisis intervention, providing basic needs (food, clothing and utility assistance) and offering other services. NCC held a prayer and dedication ceremony Friday, September 21 at St. Patrick Presbyterian Church in conjunction with the Orchard Church and Living Hope Church.

Mayor Stan Joyner spoke at the ceremony which was also attended by members of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
