The Houston Mustangs couldn’t claw back from a 40-27 halftime deficit Wednesday night in the Region 8-AAA semifinals and eventually fell 68-64 to Hamilton High School. Senior Marlon Hunter paced Houston with 21 points. The Mustangs cut the lead to three points in the third quarter with a 24-14 run. However, Hamilton would never relinquish the lead. Dedric Lawson, a University of Memphis commitment, led Hamilton with 26 points. Houston is 24-9 on the season.
