Library card scam reported in Collierville | Collierville Independent

Recently, a citizen in Collierville received a text message from the Collierville Birch Library stating they needed to renew their library card and a link was provided to renew the information.

This is a scam, as reported by the Collierville Birch Library.

The Collierville Birch Library does not send text messages to alert users to renew their library cards. Users of the library will receive an email to renew their memberships, but no link is provided in the email.

If you receive a text and/or email from the Collierville Burch Library to renew your library card, do not provide any information.

Call 457-2601 to verify the information.
