Lady Dragons take title | Collierville Independent

Clutch hitting and an exceptional pitching effort led the Lady Dragons to the Region 8-AAA Title over Houston with a 3-2 win on Wednesday May 15th at Bradley Field.

Kari Kennel drove in the winning run to give Lady Dragons the lead in the sixth inning, following a game tying RBI double by Shelby Crocker.  Both hits came with 2 out.

Bayleigh Wisher struck out eight, paving the way for the Lady Dragons win. Wisher allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over seven innings.
