Houston Levee Market to include two new restaurants | Collierville Independent

A retail center at the southwest corner of Winchester and Houston Levee roads has been approved by the town’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

The 11,312-square-foot building will include a Salsarita’s restaurant and a Pimentos Kitchen & Market.

Board members unanimously approved the final site plan for Houston Levee Market Monday night during their regularly scheduled semimonthly meeting.

Salsarita’s is based in Charlotte, N.C. and is described as a “casual, fresh Mexican-grill restaurant, similar to Moe’s Southwestern Grill.”

The 2,399-square-foot restaurant will include a patio that seats 18 customers. The indoor dining area will seat 26 patrons. It will face Winchester Road.

Locally based Pimentos, which is a recent restaurant venture from the Holiday Deli and Ham founders, offers a “casual menu featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner items.”

The 4,613-square-foot restaurant will face Houston Levee.

An outdoor courtyard area will accommodate 20 customers. Sixty two seats will be inside.
