Home sales continue to climb in Collierville

In a year rife with tumult Collierville’s housing market has remained constant.

Through November, the town has seen a 6-percent increase in sales in 2020.

At $412,750, the median sales price has also jumped nearly 9 percent compared to the previous year. 

The town had 115 sales in November, a 12-percent increase, and has seen 1,172 sales so far this year.

In comparison, Germantown has had 898 home sales through November, which is up 16 percent from the previous year. 

Sales in Shelby County are down 2 percent this year but the median sales price is up to $169,900. 

Sales are also down in Bartlett (3 percent) and Millington (11 percent). 

New home sales continued to thrive in Collierville, with 140 recorded through November by the Memphis Area Association of Realtors. 

The county has recorded 536 new sales in total. 

Collierville had 16 new sales in November for a median sales price of $577,000.
