The Shops at Carriage Crossing hosted the annual “Lights Up” event on Saturday. Children enjoyed a winter wonderland theme by making reindeer food, decorating Christmas coloring sheets and stockings, writing a letter to Santa, having their faces painted and specially made balloon animals and meeting the snow sisters from Disney’s “Frozen.” Saint Nick eventually made his arrival despite wintry weather at the Central Park roundabout
