COLLIERVILLE, TN (March 25, 2024) – Duck Donuts, known for serving Warm, Delicious and Made To Order!® donuts, announced today the grand opening of its Collierville shop is set for Saturday, March 30, at 8 a.m. The shop located in Almadale Crossing at 2059 South Houston Levee Road, in Collierville, is locally owned and operated by Spencer Lane.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first guest in line on Saturday, March 30, will receive one free dozen donuts per month for a year. The next 50 guests will receive the Sprinkling Happiness Package, two dozen donuts and a bucket of coffee, for a future visit.
“As a family, we tried Duck Donuts for the first time a few years ago and were instantly hooked. We knew we had to bring these donuts to the area because we truly believe people here will love them from the first bite as much as we did,” said Lane. “Collierville, Germantown and Memphis all have a great history of restaurants and fantastic food, and we are extremely honored and excited to have the opportunity to be a part of that!”
The 1,250-square-foot retail shop reflects the franchise’s recently announced shop reimagined, which has been designed to visually enhance the customer experience, while modernizing the franchise’s iconic beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere. Key design updates include optimized ordering experience, including self-service kiosks, and a dedicated catering prep station to support large orders. In addition to donuts, the Collierville location serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends, espresso beverages, donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, frozen beverages, milkshakes, select retail items, and more.
Duck Donuts has selected Mid-South Food Bank, a regional food bank aiming to change lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South., to receive its inaugural Quack Gives Back donation. Lane was born and raised in Germantown and Collierville. This is a full-circle moment for him as he is a Houston High School graduate which is just around the corner from where the shop is located. Lane went to college in Chattanooga before feeling the pull to move back home after graduation. His professional experience comes from working for Lane Music.
