Dragons torch competition

The Collierville High School baseball team capped off a 73-run week with a 10-2 victory over Evangelical Christian School Friday night (April 30) at Patriot Bank Park. Joey Caruso, Seth Brown and Marcus Lee each had two hits to lead the offensive outburst. Lee stole two bases.
A combination on the mound of Grayson Saunier, Ryan Neilson, Grant Ross, and Luke Whaley held the Eagles offense to just four hits and two runs.
Collierville improves to 29-5 and was scheduled to take on Briarcrest Christian on Monday at Patriot Bank Park and Memphis University School on Tuesday.
