By Graham Sweeney

With a Top 2 finish in district on the line, the Collierville High School men’s wrestling team celebrated senior night by knocking off the Arlington Tigers, 63-12.

The Dragons took 12 of the evening’s fourteen bouts, including all of the first seven to jump out to what proved to be an instrumental 34-0 lead.

The dual kicked off at 182 pounds, where senior Mark Boyadijan knocked off Arlington’s Dylan Smith by 7-6 decision.

Samuel Iroh, Noah Holcomb, and Donovan Cook then won by forfeit.

Larson Pilant kept the Dragons rolling with a pin at 106 pounds that solidified the victory.

The final match saw Collierville senior Robert Cooper win an exciting 10-6 decision over Noah Nguyen.

The Dragons will be back on the road on Thursday when they travel to take on the Red Devils of Germantown High School at 6 p.m.
