Dorothy “Dot” Nicholson Bryan, 92, of Collierville, died on September 18, 2021. Dot, a native of Collierville graduated from Collierville High School and worked as a Cosmetologist. Dot owned her own Beauty Salon for over 20 years. She was active in many organizations and was a member of Collierville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Pearl Taylor Nicholson, step-father Marlon Sexton, husband of over 55 years, Gene Bryan, daughter, Pat Smith, son- in- law Jimmy Smith, granddaughter Jim-Ann Smith, and brothers, Cecil Nicholson, Milo Nicholson, and Marlon Sexton, Jr. She is survived by her brother David (Betsy) Sexton, niece Doretha Franks and cousin Pat Thomas.
Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held at the Chapel at Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Collierville First Baptist Church, 830 New Byhalia Road, Collierville, TN 38017.
