Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane led the Coffee with a Cop event. Other local police officers and registered library patrons in the community and a few outside people from surrounding Shelby County were in attendance. Together they discussed a lot of topics, such as crime, some statistics and personal experiences.

The key theme of the evening was the responsibility on the part of both the police department and community members to work toward solutions through interaction and dialogue.  It’s not just about crime fighting, it’s also about building relationships in our community.

Thanks to Starbucks for donating the coffee and the donuts from Sam’s Donut Shop.
