Experience the magic and beauty of Collierville Town Square during the holiday season with festive events and a quarter-million holiday lights in the historic district from Thanksgiving to the New Year. The official kick-off of the holiday season in Collierville is the Christmas Tree Lighting on Town Square happening Tuesday, November 21st.

“We want to have the Square ready for Thanksgiving when we have friends and families in Town visiting and shopping over the weekend,” said Ashley Carver, the Town’s Tourism Director. “It’s a warm ‘welcome home’ for those returning and a beautiful surprise for visitors seeing our light display for the first time!”

Every year the Town of Collierville goes all out to create a magical Christmas season for Collierville’s families and guests. Ashley says the best way to stay informed of all the new and returning events is to visit colliervilletn.gov/christmas. All the event details are listed on the site; you can even sign up to receive weekly, holiday emails.

Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas are extra special. Families can visit Santa in the Gazebo (10am-2pm) and enjoy special music performances designed to get you in the holiday spirit. Don’t forget to come back in the evening to experience a quarter of a million Christmas lights and horse-drawn carriage rides on select nights!

December is when the season is in full swing starting with the Christmas Parade on Friday, December 1st. “Elf the Musical” returns this year after a sell-out season in 2022; the show will be running the first and second weekend in December at the Harrell Performing Arts Theatre. On Sunday evening, December 3rd at the Harrell Theatre, there is a special concert called “A Collierville Christmas” with various, local musicians performing all your holiday favorite songs. The sounds of the season will continue with “Music in the Gazebo” on select nights in December.
