The Collierville and Memphis Area communities are invited to gather on April 15th, 2023, for the annual Pancake Breakfast in memory of Tom Allen. The event will be held at VFW Post 5066, located at 347 S Center St, Collierville, TN 38017, from 8:30 am to 11 am.

Tom Allen was a life member of the Collierville VFW Post 5066 and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He was also an alderman for the Town of Collierville for 14 years, serving as Vice Mayor, Parks and Recreation Board, Planning Commission, Arts Council, Library Board, and Design & Review Commission. Tom was a respected member of the community and left a significant impact on those who knew him.

The Pancake Breakfast serves as an opportunity to honor his memory while raising funds to support local combat veterans. The event brings the community together and allows them to come together in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to help support local combat veterans in the area.

The menu for the breakfast will feature delicious pancakes and sides, and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time on Eventbrite. The cost of tickets is $10 for ages 12 and up, $5 for ages 3-11, and free for children under two years of age. This is an all-ages event, and all members of the community are welcome to attend.
