Site plans approved for office building, tire shop | Collierville Independent


A new two-story office building has been approved for construction on Houston Levee Road north of W. Poplar Ave.

The Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a development agreement and final site plan with Regency Homebuilders for a 10,000-square-foot building.

A 50-space parking lot will also built on the property, which is directly across the street from Ridgeway Country Club.

The brick building will be accessed from two existing drives on Houston Levee, including one shared with Lifetime Fitness and Children’s Dental.

Board members approved the final site plan for a Discount Tire Company on the southwest corner of Poplar Ave. and Abbington Road.

The 7,373-square-foot business will provide tire sales and service and is surrounded by South Tire, Collierville Auto, Walmart and the City Center Shopping Center.

The existing bank building, which was built in 1985, will be demolished when the Discount Tire is built.

The store will only sell and change tires and will not perform any other automobile repair services like brakes, shocks or batteries. They will not handle hazardous waste like oil and antifreeze.
